Lols.. so ytd was projects dae.. but our group presented first cos I had marshal duty.. so.. screwed up.. but I srsly dun understand why.. why they prepare the slides such tat we are supposed to read exactly pword by word from the slide?? Presentation will be marked down then... by right presentations should be very very summarised such that we are supposed to explain through our mouths.. word by word from the slide is like... telling the judges we know nothing else except those on the slides.. so might as well jus send our ppt over then can liao...
Then marshal duty.. 8 hrs there very sian.. See the gymnast jumping and balancing here and there.. some very own.. before they can put their medals/trophy down, they have to go up to receive another one.. one from sports school was holding 3/4 medals in his hand while another being hung on his neck... One from pri sch got 3 gold, 1 silver, 1 bronze.. ownage sia... I thin is someone called May from Nanyang Primary.. her name read so many times that it's hard not to rmb...

Okay. shall blog bout some significant happenings this few daes.. Firstly, had NPAP Preview ytd.. Or rather it is just the full dress rehersal, dunno why they like to call it the preview though..
So ytd the preview was quite okay.. Jus that after one hormat after marching out, the person to my front left left suddenly fell backwards then forward then sideways then like one who got struck by some thoughts in the mind and went crazy.. but I do know what is happening though.. the sun was blazing hot, and we had been training under shelter for quite some time, and most probably he is not used to the sun blasting at him in front of the grandstand.. and one thing for sure. he did not wriggle his toes.. I think you can tell what is happening like me.. =D
But hor, I dunno why, although the CIs kept saying: "I noe its hot, I understand." I dun really find it hot.. I think the last training before the preview is hotter.. ytd sun was not that blazing compared to that training.
Then went to food junction to eat wid the NPAP ppl.. toking bout our experience while marching out.. discussing duscussing lols.. dun wan tok la.. Mr Ong will feedback anw.. lols...
I ate some "yong tau foo" ... $5.20... zz...
then went home sleep.. then forget to wake up.. then was late in meeting zr at the mrt station... lols hahah.. then I realised something.. I met zr at the mrt in the morning at 6.20 to go acs barker.. 12 hours ltr.. I met him at the mrt again at 6.20 to go the tan kah kee drama... lols.. then at city hall saw my NCOs + Exco chairman + some other sec 4s, including my dpmt head in Unit Camp OT. lols..
Then me and zr and dan jus randomly walk walk walk.. then since we saw Victoria concert hall liao so we jus go in.. I stand outside for quite a while before going in and sit there for quite a while before the drama start.. the seat isnt that comfortable.. if not I would have slept.. lols..
Due to my busy schedule of preview + sleep + drama.. I have not done any work.. so I have to stop now and do them.. =D bb

hahas went for npap training 8 ytd.. nxt is the full dress rehersal on 4 april.. lols.. haven start training in the expo.. sians I scared my pants split lei.. then go sit with reserves!! no no no!! I must continue in the main!! MAIN!!!! I wan go parade!!!!! I wan to be like syfoc like that... but thinking that there is only 1 preview, 4 trainings and the parade itself makes me feel sad lei.. I wan go more parades.. dunno why.. but I jus like parades alot.. ever since syfoc 08.. maybe next year syfoc again then I go again.. that is if chosen.. unless they no enuf cadets again like this year.
Quite ironic.. when my father want me to join a UG.. i joined relunctantly... then now I like far too commited le.. alot of my time in npcc activities.. but I dun mind, its quite fun though.. today jus went to sec 2 carp.. found out that actually is becos the sec 4 bo manpower..cos sec 1 carp todae also.. then dennis ong was there also.. quite fun.. was at sunlove home..
oh yea.. heard from zr that zi hao blog veh interesting.. so I went to see todae.. since I ytd fell asleep accidentally. saw ezors tag.. I veh agree.. hongliang sirs training is like so much more effective and enjoyable.. at the same time discipline is maintained veri veri veri veri veri well.. i noe the ncos will definitely see this post, so I take this chance to tell them: - increased font so the ncos will not misunderstand it due to the font.
we will appreciate veli much if you all can adopt hongliang sir's training method. see how I actually addressed him as a sir even on my blog, out of npcc activities.. definitely this kind of respect, I believe not only from me but also all my squadmates is not easily earned. This kind of respect is not up to us to decide whether to give or not. It jus comes naturally, if the recipient is deserving.. You guys can see veri veri well, I believe you can, that during hong liang sirs training, our drills did improve, not alot I agree, but at the very least we enjoyed it more than urs.. furthermore, have you seen us showing disrespect to hongliang sir even if he treats us nicely during that particular training? You guys may argue that our discipline will not be maintained if you treat us too nicely.. but this particular training have proven you guys wrong. and as an nco, I believe, knowing that you are wrong, you should change for the better.. if not how are we to respect you? we wish very much to give you the respect that we gave to hongliang sir, but like I said.. it is natural, there is no way for us to force it out to ur, if you are not deserving. If you guys are still not convinced that we can still maintain discipline even though that you are treating us veli nicely, why not try it out? trying out and seeing the effect is the best. if you guys have tried it out and still wish to continue decieving yourselves that it will not work, then I have nothing to sae.. not only me, the whole of the sec 3 squad have nothing to sae.. Also, I would like to point out some things that I think can be improved in the whole training system in the unit. You can treat this as a suggestion and bring up to mr ong to review it. From the exco meeting on 18/3, it have been said that cadets are given 1 drill session for introduction of new drills. Perfecting will be left for a later revision time. However, although the sec 3 squad have alr had introduction to the drills before that particular training, We ned more time. Reason is simple. it is ADVANCED drills. The definition of advanced drills.. I believe this name is given for a reason, not that someone is happy then name it advanced drills, not happy then name it basic drills. this drills are a level, or even more, harder than the normal sedia or senagdiri that we learnt in sec 1, thus, the introduction of this drill should stretch for a longer time, and not jus for 2/3 sessions and expect us to perfect it the next. Then, secondly, as humans, forgetting is part of life. I dun think we deserve to be punished jus becos we forget the drills taught, since we have only went through training for those drills a few times (not very sure how many since I went for npap). Do you guys dare to shout in front of all our faces that you nv forgot anything in ur 16 years of living on earth? if you dare and can prove it to us, we have nth to sae.. if you dare but know very well you did not fulfil it, then jus like before.. we have nth to sae too. All we have to sae is: stop deceiving urselves. So once again, I want to stress that the squad wish veri veri much to give you the respect we gave to hongliang sir, but we hope you can review on ur actions, and see if you really is up to the standard of hongliang sir to deserve that.
Next, 2 things I want to stress: Firstly, the long para of maybe spam to some of u, or logic to some of u, is not directed to all of my ncos. I understand there are those who really want the best for our squad and merely jus mixing in the scolding initiated by the other (these ncos, I thank you alot, very sincrely from deep of my heart, I assure you that ur efforts will not go to waste) which is unavoidable as I understand as humans we tend to do so. That is only directed at the nco(s) that I am directing at. so, if you feel insulted, that means you, deep in your own heart, your own mind, your own soul, you know very well, very clear, with no doubts, that you are the kind of ncos I am directing at. If thats really the case, I hope you can change urself.
Secondly, there is no form of threatening or signs of being rude to the ncos in my previous paragraph. If in any way, whether you fail to understand the definition of being rude or threatening, or anything, and feel insulted or unhappy. do let me know. I will change it immediately, jus like how the whole squad hope you guys will change ur training method.
In quantum physics, everything is possible. Thus, there is a possibility that my long para is not directed at anyone or anything.. If you urself really feel that you are of such standards that I am directing that para at you, and you feel insulted, tell me, I will change it.. and once agn.. jus like how the whole sec 3 squad is hoping that the ncos change the way of training us. This is our very last training year, next year will only be revision, thus, we hope to pass it happily and leave NPCC with good memories of training days in 2010 Aug/Sep.
Putting that all aside, another term of hell have jus begin.. tests and mugging is coming agn.. or probably it nv stopped for some of you.. Gd luck in ur tests this term.. :)

Lols, today the squad got screwed for having more than 10 ppl late... actually is screw before the meeting de, but no time, so after meeting, 10 cadets called to do sai kang, moving loads of paper worth of 100+kg in total to the general office.. Save the environment sia!!
lols.. so I went for the screwing seesion late cos of sai kang, and quoting abit:
"Competition is very tough now!! There are cadets who know shit about rifle drills in the GOH contingent!! Dun believe can ask marcus goh or ezor!!" (abit paraphrase)
Actually quite true sia, some dun know a shyt bout rifle drills then in the GOH, cos of their Unit UOPA.. sian lor.. nvm, hwa chong show imba drills then own can liao.. hahas!! =)

I guess everyone will have to work harder (including me.. my NAPFA.. =P)

lols jus received the news from QingYang sir that I am one of the 4 parade commanders for Term 2 flag raising. But the trainings for the commanders are on mon and wed of the March hols.. then mon cant go cos of defence science workshop.. then may change commander.. Hope they dun change it..
Besides this also got other clashes. I didnt know when the campcraft badge test was shifted to mon.. then clash wid workshop also.. ned go for the test on some other day.. sad case la..

ytd was quite tiring.. held the rifle for quite long.. but quite fun lor.. cos the rifle is the one that made NPAP enjoyable.. Heard that we wun be having the bayonet so soon.. miss it lei.. faster bayonet pls pls!! T.T
ytd was the a levels reault release.. hwa chong got commendable results so got half dae.. but to me is oni escape from slightly less that 1 period of lessons nia.. cos when the early dismissal was declared, only 3 period were left.. and the last 2 was bio which I dun take.. so oni pon 1 period.. then after that still got NPAP training.. to me like no diff lor.. jus that I kop song ken's com play cs.. since I going HTA then nv bring my laptop.. scared lost at HTA sia.. cos like all the Unit's few cadets were there.. jus the GOH boys got 140++ ppl le.. think... 20 areas, ea area 8 schs or so.. how many ppl are there??
anw nxt week my sab le.. but then hor.. the sab last from morning to eveniing.. sians.. and I ned seek permission to leave early from sab on fri for NPAP training.. if miss then gg... mus be approved.. Mr tan approve me bah.. the parade means alot to me.. T.T
